The new CFO/COO will be joining the QVentures team based out of London, UK.
REASON FOR THE SEARCH
Due to the scaling of the business, the firm sought an experienced CFO & COO to join full-time.
PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM
QVentures sources, screens, and invests in top-tier start-ups from Seed to Series B. The London-based firm focuses on Enterprise SaaS, Marketplaces, Consumer Tech, FinTech, AdTech, EdTech, InsurTech, HealthTech, and more.
They have £300 Mn in AUM across 2 funds and are deploying £100k+ in venture capital per annum. Within their first fund, they raised £50 Mn and since have completed over 125 acquisitions.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- 7 – 15 years of finance experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Special Purpose Vehicles experience
- PE or VC experience
- Managing third-party/outsourced providers
THE PROCESS
Raw Selection commences every search by discussing and understanding the full search requirement and brief. Raw Selection’s Senior Associate, Haleema Hussain, led the search and worked with Managing Partner, Alex Rawlings, who, with the cooperation of Robert Walsh, hiring manager at QVentures, built out a full picture of the company, the employees, the culture, and exactly the type of profile that was needed to succeed in this position.
Raw Selection followed our extensive 15-step search process, identifying 521 potential profiles, which were fully evaluated and then cut down to a shortlist of 7, all of whom had been fully interviewed and measured for culture fit.
Raw Selection identified an exceptional individual, Ranjeet Sandhu, who was subsequently hired for the role.
